Great post. You really captured the essence of College Summit. I just returned from my weekend of volunteering at Glenville State College in Glenville, WV. It’s amazing how wonderful these students are and how far they can go with just a little nurturing and encouragement.
Great post, Bruce.
We make a family affair of our writing coaching too. This year it’s me, my wife, a daughter, and a different daughter’s boyfriend. It’s an amazing time, and so cool to share that with family. At College Summit, we talk about an asset-based approach — building on the students *assets* not on what’s not there (yet). What’s there is profound, huh.
Thanks for joining.
