This spring, Michael Hinshaw and I will release our new book, “Smart Customers, Stupid Companies.” It describes a trend that ought to scare the hell out of any corporate executive: customers are getting smarter than the companies that want their business.
The book highlights a “perfect storm” of four disruptive forces, which over the next couple of years will force companies to reinvent not only their existing products and services, but also the very reasons for their existence.
